When do I need to reapply my SPF 30 moisturiser for sun protection?
Our Revitalising Day Moisturiser has been formulated with an SPF 30. Generous application in the morning will provide sufficient protection from UV radiation on days when you are only in and out of the sun. On days where you will be out in the sun for longer periods such as sunbathing or on holiday, it is advisable that you follow the Irish Cancer Association guidelines. In these instances, apply 5mls (approximately a teaspoon amount) of your SPF to the skin half an hour before sun exposure, then reapply the same amount every two hours to ensure you are sufficiently protected from harmful UV radiation.

Will the SPF block my pores?
The SPF in our Revitalising Day Moisturiser have been formulated with a new and unique ingredient technology that allows us to deliver encapsulated SPF actives into the skin. This encapsulated SPF 30 has been proven to provide both prolonged and effective protection from UV radiation without experiencing excessive oiliness, congestion, or breakouts.

Do I need to apply a separate SPF with the Revitalising Day Moisturiser?
Your Skinician Revitalising Day Moisturiser contains an SPF 30 that has been proven to provide protection from harmful UV radiation and you do not need to use an additional SPF product alongside it. However, it is safe to layer other SPF products on top of your daytime moisturiser should you wish to.

How do I choose a moisturiser for sensitive skin? 
When choosing a moisturiser for sensitive skin it's important that you choose a product that will help soothe and repair your skin's barrier. Our Revitalising Day Moisturiser has been formulated for sensitive skin types and contains the antioxidant aloe vera which acts as an anti-inflammatory to soothe, repair and reduce redness for those with easily irritated skin. 

Use daily, apply in the morning, after cleansing and toning. Allow 5 minutes before applying makeup.

For best results: Use everyday even if your not outside, it is important to protect from free radicals, not just UV rays. Daily use will also help intensely hydrate and treat dryness on the facial area.

Expert tip: Apply 30 minutes before daylight exposure for maximum protection. If sunbathing suncreen should be reapplied every 2-3 hours.
