Carol’s Dry Skin Journey

Upon reaching out to us, Carol sought assistance with her skin issues, which primarily involved dry, sensitive skin displaying signs of ageing. After receiving our recommendations for suitable products targeting her specific concerns, Carol diligently followed the routine. Remarkably, within a span of 6 weeks, her skin underwent a significant transformation, exhibiting a remarkable reduction in irritation and a noteworthy improvement in its overall condition.

Best Treatment Plan for dry and sensitive skin

Carol was prescribed a personalised skincare routine, specifically to address her skin concerns and asked to take pictures of her skin before starting the products, at 3 weeks to check in on the progress and at 6-8 weeks to see the results. Let’s take a look at the routine Carol followed to get her results.

Carol's Dry Skincare Routine

Step 1: Cleanse

Carol said her skin felt tight and skincare products often made it sting. Our skincare specialist decided that Carol’s barrier was impaired which was causing the sensitivity she was experiencing. Our Cleansing Balm is a balm to oil texture cleanser that breaks down SPF, make-up and impurities, thoroughly cleansing skin whilst leaving it nourished and hydrated. This is a great cleanser for those with dry and sensitive skin as it doesn’t strip any natural oils from the skin leaving less risk or irritation and stinging sensations that many find using cleansers.

To tackle her dry and dull skin, Carol was also recommended the Advanced Pro-Radiance Enzyme Cleanser to use every other day. This cleanser not only cleanses skin but also contains Fruit Enzymes (AHAs)  that help to gently exfoliate the skin, leaving dull skill brighter from the first use.

Step 2: Serum

Carol experienced redness on her cheeks from her dry, sensitive skin, so the next product recommended to Carol was the Advanced Calming Serum. This serum is packed full of skin soothing and calming ingredients such as Butcher’s Broom to soothe, calm and reduce redness whilst hydrating the skin. Carol noted how the redness was reduced from first use and kept any sensitivity and stinging at bay.

Step 3: Moisturise

Carol was recommended our Advanced Time Delay Day Cream to address the signs of ageing she was experiencing. This rich day cream is formulated with ingredients such as Hydra Advance, a hydrating ingredient that binds and retains moisturiser into the lower layers of the skin, Hyaluronic Acid to plump and hydrate skin and Vitamin E to soothe and protect. This cream also includes SPF30 to give skin daily UV protection.

For night, we recommended our Restoring Night Cream to help restore the moisture lost throughout the day and supercharges skin overnight to leave skin glowing and plumped the next day. This addressed a number of Carol’s skin concerns such as dry and ageing skin, but after only a couple of days of use, she found her skin was hydrated and plumped each morning.

Step 4: Eye Cream

Carol was concerned about the fine lines that were appearing round her eyes, so the Peptide Eye Complex was recommended to tackle the fine lines and brighten the area. Formulated with brightening Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid Spheres to plump the fine lines whilst containing SPF30 and UV filters to protect the skin from ageing.

She noticed an immediate plumping of the lines round her eye area and how her eyes didn’t experience any sensitivity or stinging during or after use.
